At a meeting held on 7 and 10 February 2020, the Council of the Agency for Electronic Media (AEM) adopted a decision on restriction of retransmission of certain programmes broadcast on the TV channels TV Happy and TV Pink M from Serbia for a period of three months.

The decision was adopted because the programmes promoted hatred, intolerance and discrimination against Montenegrin nationals. Given that this is the issue of public interest, the protection of which requires the measures that will restrict the contentious language, the AEM Council concluded that the decision to restrict the retransmission of the following programmes for a period of three months is justified:

  1. “Dobro jutro Srbijo” (Good Morning Serbia), “Ćirilica” (Cyrillic Alphabet) and “Posle ručka” (After Lunch) on TV Happy;
  2. “Novo jutro” (New Morning) on TV Pink M.
